We came here on a Monday night around 5:30 and was seated immediately. However it did fill up relatively quickly. The sushi and servers were all great. For two people, we got 5 special rolls and took home 2 rolls. They are bigger than normal and it's good value for the size, so just keep that in mind. Very fresh, all of them tasted delicious. We recommend the Golden Dragon if you like mango and crab, and aren't too partial to other fish. Otherwise the Isobe roll or Crazy Horse are also good choices . The salmon nigiri that was light seared with fire on lemon was heavenly. They had free hot tea which the servers refilled often and cleaned up plates often. We'll definitely be back!

Sushi Cho is at the top of my list now. We ordered the Mafia, Tropical Thunder, Salmon Ninja, Lady Killer, Maui Black Pepper Tuna, among other specialty rolls. Each roll was divine. The Lady Killer was the first sushi roll I've ever had where temperature played a factor in how delicious it was. Difficult to describe, but 100% worth it. The restaurant also has a wonderful atmosphere.

Nice sushi spot in Fairfax. Went with the 5 person sushi platter which was composed of a mix of rolls and Nigiri, all chef's choice. The fish all tasted fresh and and the rolls were well put together. The complimentary green tea was nice and light with a earthy flavor and they chef also sent a flaming salmon roll to our table which was very appreciated. All around good experience and can't wait to come back.

Our second visit to Sushi Cho. Compared to our first visit a few months ago, the service has became worse. Our water was never refilled and sat empty for over half the meal. The sushi tasted about the same, which is good. On this visit we tried the mackerel sashimi appetizer, which looked interesting next to all the other sashimi options, but to our surprise the fish came out cooked and was really dry. That likely was the reason we didn't enjoy the rest of the meal as much. Additional note, this place is not the most kid friendly and my in laws got dirty looks from the staff while walking my child around an almost empty restaurant.

Fresh and taste really good. Their special rolls are awesome. One of the best sushi places I’ve ever been to. Will definitely come back again! Just wish they could have a bigger place - tables are so close to each other, it doesn’t bother too much though.

The ambiance is nice minimal and modern. The sushi 🍣 though is really lacking taste and freshness. I really came in here with super high hopes because of the menu is resembling my favorite sushi place but that is not the case. It’s a cute little place if you want some cozy place but if you really want nice sushi, you will probably be disappointed like me.

Great recent add to the DMV Sushi list. Service was thumbs up and warm atmosphere. Visited twice back to back to check on calamari and clam sushi but were too 'fishy' still. I'm sure they are fresh but to my taste, wouldn't recommend. Everything was great! I would definately be back!

Probably one of the better sushi places I've been to in NOVA. The interior of the space speaks Japanese style sushi restaurant. We ordered a sushi deluxe and an assortment of rolls, tempura appetizer, and nabe udon. All of the sushi and rolls were great. The fish was fresh and I think some of them were actually aged which you don't see a lot here. Normally most of the tuna is served in this area, you won't feel much acidity, but their tuna did have some to my surprise. Udon was fresh and well presented but seasoning was very light. I wish they had bit more saltiness. Service was also amazing. Staff over there are always communicating with chef and foods were very quickly delivered. Something you don't see a lot here as well.
